I bought this product specifically for the pore cleansing part. I have been trying out products to fix my pore problem for ages. My oily skin causes my pores to get clogged and enlarged easily, so I bought this hoping it could fix this problem. Here’s my review!
Etude House is typically known for their extremely and overwhelmingly cute packaging, but for this product is wasn’t as cutesie as their others. I actually really liked the look of the packaging. It was pretty simple with nice colors.
Here is Etude House official image
What it says it does
Formulated with baking powder and to gently exfoliate skin and penetrate pores for a thorough cleanse.
Directions:
Wet face and dispense small amount onto hands. Lather and apply foam to face, gently massaging entire area. Wash and rinse thoroughly with warm water.
You really only need a little bit of product to cover the entire face.
After it is mixed with water and lathered it foams up very nicely.
When I was rubbing in on my face, I could actually feel the baking soda grains in it. The tiny little granules are probably what gives it its exfoliating property. It also kind of smelled like lemon-lime soda. Like Sprite, but it wasn’t bad or anything.
I think this product was pretty effective at cleaning out pores. My pores felt a lot more clean and they also looked less visible after using this. My skin felt very clean, but it didn’t give it a tight dry feeling. I think I would buy this again since it makes a good everyday foam cleanser.
Pros:
Foams up very nicely
Very affordable
Cleans out pores effectively
Left skin clean but not dry or tight
Cons:
Not much– maybe just that it didn’t have a very drastic effect
Ooo this sounds good!

I’ve tried this one as well! It’s actually one of my favorites because I love the combination of scent and the foaming! Something about Sprite on my face is great lol

My friend gave it to me years ago but I don’t have much impression left so maybe it’s not that good haha
I love one from Skin Food called “Parsley & Mandarin Mild Foam”, I recommend it 😉

Thanks! Hehe I always fall short on the exfoliating part. I don’t know why but for some reason, I always forget to that. I should really do it regularly. Thanks for the advice!

One thing I am scared of pore cleansing cleanser is the drying, tight feeling after use, I am glad that you don’t feel that after using the product, may give it a go. =)

Yeah that’s what I thought of most foam cleansers too! But this one really didn’t do that to my skin! I hope that it works for you!
